Butterfly in a Vortex

I am an artist who is inspired by the natural world: landscapes, organic forms, patterns and textures. I have been a printmaker since 2007 and enjoy the variety and breadth of the discipline as well as the range of effects that can be produced. I strive to produce dimension in my artworks by creating the illusion of depth through the juxtaposition of light and dark. The name of my website reflects how I feel when I am making art. Ideas swirl and dance, twisting tantalizingly out of reach. As I try to grasp them they slip away, changing, shifting and evolving. Yet, eventually the turbulence abates, things settle, calm descend, clarity emerges and sometimes something magical happens! My artworks are original designs, individually hand crafted and are unique creations; I occasionally make limited editions but no more than 10 of each.
